Après une première partie très rap français, à faire crier des ‘FUCK’ à la fosse, les lumières s’éteignent, et ZA Intro commence, et la Flèche d’Or se lance dans des cris de joie. Après cette intro, extraite de The Papercut Chronicles II, Gym Class Heroes rend la salle folle en interprétant leur single Cookie Jar, de leur album produit par Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy): The Quilt.

Si certaines personnes ne connaissent pas, ou peu, l’intro, ce single, lui est bien connu. Mais lorsque le groupe entame les premières notes de Cupid’s Chokeholds, on entend plus les 400 fans présents pour ce concert complet, que la voix de Travie McCoy. La fosses s’échauffe de plus en plus durant la chanson que tous les fans, ou juste amateurs connaissent. La fosse répond aux questions, et réagit au discours de Travie, tout juste avant d’entamer la première chanson du set extraite du dernier album, Martyrial Girl$. Afin d’avoir toute la Flèche D’or qui chante leurs hits, le groupe new-yorkais reprend Live A Little et nous offre un solo de guitare par Disashi qui entraine la fosse, Marc [DeJesus] dansant sur scène, et Travie, épaule contre épaule avec le guitariste.

Quand arrive le premier bémol du concert, du au fait des featuring du dernier album, le playback utilisé pour Ass Back Home, puisque Neon Hitch n’était pas présente ce soir là. Problème, chanson suivante, le groupe recommence, en interprétant Guilty As Charged, pareil, sans Estelle, mais un playback. Troisième problème de suite, en jouant The Fighter, toujours avec un disque tournant. Mais, pourquoi Marc ou Disashi n’ont-ils pas chanté? Il est possible de comprendre que Gym Class Heroes n’ai pas de chanteuse disponible pour toute une tournée, mais un homme? Pourquoi pas? Suivant cette chanson, le groupe entame l’un de ses premiers single: Papercuts, apportant ainsi aux inconditionnels une touche ancienne, mais qui marche toujours.

Rapide coup d’oeil à la montre, 21h45. Regard sur la setlist: il ne reste que trois chansons. Travie et ses acolytes reprennent son tube de son projet solo, en partenariat avec le playback de Bruno Mars: Billionaire. Après avoir donné un solo de guitare extraordinaire, les premières notes de Solo Discotheque commencent, et nous invite à un solo de basse de la part de Eric Roberts. Quand, finalement, le dernier disque de la soirée pour le playback commence. La voix d’Adam Levine retentit dans la Flèche D’Or. Travie nous propose de chanter à la place du leader de Maroon5, et de l’accompagner.

Dernier bémol du concert, le concert n’a duré qu’une seule petite heure, bien qu’il s’agissait d’un concert dansant, qui donne chaud, et donne envie de bouger partout.

After a very early French rap, to shout ‘FUCK’ in the pit, the lights go out, and ZA Intro begins, and La Flèche D’Or launches into shouts of joy. After this intro, taken from The Papercut Chronicles II, Gym Class Heroes makes the room mad by interpreting their single Cookie Jar, from their album produced by Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy): The Quilt. If people do not know, or not really the intro, this single, it is well known. But when the band began the first notes of Cupid’s Chokehold, we hear more the  400 fans in attendance for this sold out concert, than the voice of Travie McCoy. The pits heats more and more during the song the real fans or just “not really fans, just this song” know.

The pit answers questions, responds to speech Travie asks, just before starting the first song  from the latest album, Martyrial Girl$. To have all La Flèche D’Or singing their hits, the New York group plays Live A Little and offers a guitar solo by Disashi which makes the pit dances, Marc [DeJesus] dancing on stage, and Travie, shoulder against shoulder with the guitarist. When it is the first flat of the concert, due to the many featuring on the latest album, the band used a playback for Ass Back Home, since Neon Hitch was not present that night. Problem, next song, the group again, interpreting Guilty As Charged, again, not Estelle, but a playback. Third problem now, playing The Fighter, always with a rotating disk. But why Marc or Disashi did not sing? It is possible to understand that Gym Class Heroes do not have a female singer available for a tour, but a man? Why not? Following this song, the group began one of his first single: Papercuts, providing fans with a touch of old but still working.

Quick glance at the clock, 9:45pm. Look at the setlist: there are only three songs left. Travie and his followers return to his hit of his solo project, in partnership with the playback voice of Bruno Mars: Billionaire. After giving an amazing guitar solo earlier, the first notes of Solo Discotheque start, and invites us to a bass solo from Eric Roberts. When, finally, the last playback disc of the evening to begin. Adam Levine’s voice sounds in the Flèche D’Or. Travie offers to sing in place of the leader of Maroon5, and to accompany him.

Last downside of the concert, the concert lasted only one hour, although it was a dance concert, which provides hot and makes me want to move anywhere.
