Pete Wentz Relaunches Decaydance Records As DCD2 Records

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy has relaunched Decaydance Records as DCD2 records, and new bands/artists signed in the label. Check out below what Pete has to say about this new idea.

Following the news, Decaydance Fans has not decided whether or not we will change our name.

the idea behind the label originally was a gang, something that would be us versus the world… i took a few years off the same time the band did but i didnt stop listening to new music… i always felt like it was my responsibility to nurture and magnify the profile of other artists… today we begin doing that again. today i want to announce DCD2- this is the next chapter, the renaissance, and i’d like to welcome New Politics and LOLO to the family. i feel like i have more time to devote to this again and the state of music is so exciting right now. though we are launching this independently we are open to working with people who are dedicated, passionate and interested in finding new ways to operate. stay tuned for more announcements coming soon.

welcome to decade 2. DCD2.

catch New Politics on MONUMENTOUR this summer with Fall Out Boy. LOLO will also be hitting the stage each night of MONUMENTOUR during fob’s set.get all the dates and tickets here.
