Dallon Weekes Releases Christmas Song

Panic! At The Disco’s bassist Dallon Weekes released on his Band Camp account a Christmas song, getting us even more excited about the Holidays. You can stream the song, and check out the lyrics below.

ABOUT THIS TRACK:

Sometimes a child’s Christmas wish is so pure and true that the heavens open. And the very fabric of our reality is rent in twain.
Other times you get a sweater from your aunt. You tell her you like it, but you don’t really like it. Christmas.

This is track goes back a few years. I just wanted to give it a proper recording. Every song deserves a chance. Just like people.

LYRICS:

Oh lights are shining down
but i feel dead
The sickly sweet holidays keep me in bed
but when I’m awake
I’m crying every day
I wish that you were here
when Christmas comes this time each year

I’ll wrap you up and send you to myself
I don’t want anything from anyone else
I’m sitting in my room
dreaming of you
I can’t wait ’til you get here
when Christmas comes this time each year

I’m feeling better since you returned my calls
so string up some christmas lights
lets deck these halls
I’ve one more thing to say
don’t ever go away
oh I’m glad you’re here
when Christmas comes this time each year.

Ba da ba.
Always end a Christmas song with another Christmas song.
Smash the piano.
End.
